Promoting love and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community

ONE HUG AT A TIME!

Free Mom Hugs Southern Ontario is a group of parents, friends, allies and LGBTQ2S+ members, who offer unconditional love and support to LGBTQ2S+ community in Southern Ontario. You do not have to be a mom to join! All welcome!

Free Mom Hugs Southern Ontario travels to as many Prides as we can each summer. As a large group, we unfortunately cannot attend every event. Mom hugs began as a grassroots act of love and support for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. If you would like to organize a group of huggers in your community, we would be happy to support you. If you are registering and wearing our shirts we have a code of conduct and volunteer resources all our volunteers (representatives) read before hand. This is for the saftey of all involved. This includes using inclusive language, creating an inclusive environment, asking for consent before you hug, what to do if protestors attend, and safety recommendations. We can help with registration for Pride events, as insurance is sometimes required. Let us know how we can continue to spread the love one hug at a time!
